About Meddor

Who makes it

Meddor is made by Alexandre Gaubert, an independent developer based in France. The idea came the day the family dog was given the same medicine twice: nobody knew the other had already given it.

What Meddor is

A free app with no ads, for iPhone and Android: your dog’s or cat’s health record, shared by the whole household. You take a photo of the prescription, Meddor reminds you of every dose, and whoever gives it taps “Given”: everyone sees it, and nobody gives it twice.

How the site’s tools are built

Each free tool on this site is based on veterinary recommendations, cited at the bottom of its page: WSAVA, ESCCAP, AAHA, the Merck Veterinary Manual, FEDIAF. None gives a medication dose, and none replaces your vet: they help you prepare for the visit and remember what your vet told you.
